Welcome to planDisney, Awais! I'm glad you found your way to us.
I'm so sorry to hear about your unfortunate circumstance and I'm hoping that everything is okay. Please know that my
planDisney family and I are all sending you the best and wishing for the best outcome! As the Emperor in
Mulan says, "The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all."
Theme park tickets at the
Walt Disney World Resort are nontransferable and nonrefundable. While you can sometimes make adjustments to your ticket before your arrival, if your adjustments are more expensive, you are responsible for the difference, and, in your case, if the adjustments to your ticket are less expensive, there are no refunds for the difference. Always ensure that you consult with the
Terms and Conditions.
While this probably isn't the news you were looking for, it is helpful to know that the value of your tickets usually doesn't go away and can usually be applied to a new ticket purchase. You may want to discuss your options with a friendly Cast Member by
calling the resort. They will be able to go over all of your options, which may help to make your decision easier.
Awais, I wish you all the best and hope you can still make it to the resort. If you have any other questions,
please feel free to reach out.
Believe you can, then you will,
Matt
