We bought 2 day park passes through the MDE App. We don't want to stand in line at a ticket Window to redeem. How can we get our tickets prior to our trip? If we order MagicBands and link to the account will we be able to skip the line?

Hi, Samantha! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing us this great question!

Assuming that you purchased regular Disney Theme Park Tickets as opposed to any special offer (Florida Resident, Canadian Resident, Military, etc.), then you should be able to link them to a MagicBand. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you will be sent a MagicBand, but based on your question I believe you have alternative accommodations and you would then have to purchase a MagicBand or even use one from a previous Walt Disney World Resort vacation! In order to link your MagicBand to the Disney Theme Park Tickets you have purchased online, follow these steps:

    1) Create an account or sign-in to your Disney account,
    2) Click on “Link MagicBand”,
    3) Enter your MagicBand number, found on the inside of the MagicBand,
    4) If you haven’t already, do the same to link your Theme Park Tickets to your account,
5 ) Ensure your MagicBand is “active”.

If you have any issues linking the MagicBand or your Theme Park tickets to your account, you can call a friendly Cast Member at “Existing Tickets”. I would also suggest bringing your actual Theme Park Ticket media (cards) if you have them as a backup.

I hope this helps you get to the magic quickly and stress-free! Come back real soon!
