Hey there, Dakota! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question.
I can't imagine a more magical way to celebrate the holidays than visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth, and the only thing that could make a holiday visit to
Walt Disney World Resort more special is a visit with family. While it's less than magical to hear that you're having a hard time making Theme Park Reservations for your family, I'm more than happy to help you and your family unlock the magic.
I just checked the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar for Theme Park Tickets, and it looks like there is availability during your visit! As far as I can see, the only theme park that no longer has availability is Magic Kingdom Park on Christmas Day, December 25th. If you are the manager of the plans, as long as your family members are connected to you via your Family & Friends List and their tickets are valid, not blocked out and properly linked to their accounts, you should be able to make Theme Park Reservations for them on your
My Disney Experience account. Log into your My Disney Experience account, hover over the "Park & Tickets" tab, click "Theme Park Reservations" and then the "
Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations" button.
If you have purchased the
Florida Resident Disney Weekday Magic Ticket, unfortunately, that special ticket offer is only valid on weekdays through December 22, 2023. If this is the type of ticket you have, this is why you can't make Theme Park Reservations the week of Christmas. If this is the case and your family members' travel dates are not flexible and can't be moved up, I suggest
calling a helpful Cast Member with Existing Tickets to see if the value of those tickets can be applied to new tickets that will be valid during their visit. Sometimes, depending on the ticket type, this is a possibility, and I'll be wishing upon a star that this works for you!
Dakota, be sure to make your family's Theme Park Reservations as soon as possible, and remember that all adults will have to show proof of Florida residency to take advantage of a Florida resident offer. Now, hopefully, your loose planning ends are all tied up and you can start your countdown to the family fun!
While this may not have been the answer you were hoping for, Dakota, I hope it was at least helpful. Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon,
Mandy
