Hiya, Karen, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
First off, I’m so glad to hEAR you’ve already purchased your tickets to the
Disneyland Resort! This is a great way to save time waiting in line on your arrival day. I’m happy to report that you can add
Disney MaxPass to your
theme-park ticket on a daily basis, upon entering the theme parks. So, you won’t need to worry about adding it all four days unless you specifically choose to. MaxPass is truly the best way to maximize your time in the parks! It allows you to make
Disney FASTPASS selections directly from your phone, which is another big time-saver. Before your arrival, I recommend downloading the
Disneyland app, which you'll need in order to use MaxPass. Once you’ve downloaded the Disneyland app, you can add your ticket by going to “My Tickets”, then pressing the “+” sign in the upper right corner. Next, press “Link Tickets & Passes” and scan the barcode for the ticket, or enter the ID number manually. Press “Submit”, and you’re all set!
Then, you won't need to worry about adding MaxPass until you've arrived at the Disneyland Resort. Once you enter either
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park, you can add Disney MaxPass to your ticket on a daily basis by using the Disneyland app. From the Home screen, look for the “+” sign at the bottom of the screen. Tap that, then select “Get FASTPASS with Disney MaxPass.” Select which ticket you’d like to add MaxPass too, then complete your transaction. It’s as easy as that!
My family and I also enjoy using the Disneyland app to check attraction wait times, make
dining reservations, find favorite Characters, and
mobile order food and drinks. The app is the ideal way to make the most of your time at the Disneyland Resort!
Please stop by with any additional planning questions, Karen… I’m all EARs!
