Hi Veronica! Welcome to planDisney.
You are only a few days away from your visit to Disneyland Resort, and I know just how excited you are getting. You are going to be living your Disney dream SO soon!
I’m sorry to hear you had this mix-up with your ticket purchase and
Theme Park Reservations. Unfortunately,
theme park capacity is limited due to health and safety guidance and operational rules, and these limits are not flexible. If your daughter’s ticket is not a Disneyland Park as Starting Park ticket, she will not be able to enter Disneyland Park with the rest of you who do have that ticket. My best advice is to keep checking the
Theme Park Reservation availability calendar to see if availability changes. As Guests change their plans, spots do open up, so continue to persevere and check! Another option is to change the rest of your party’s ticket to Disney California Adventure Park as Starting Park tickets to match your daughter’s ticket (pending availability, which is changing by the minute these days). You could also
reach out to Guest Services to see if they have any additional advice.
Veronica, if none of these options work, you could look into changing your visit date. As someone who has canceled a couple of Walt Disney World Resort vacations over the past year, I know that is not a magical option or a happy alternative. However, if you’re not able to make the visit work the way you’re hoping, it may be worth checking Theme Park Reservation availability and choosing a new date that will work for everyone in your party.
I’m sending pixie-dusted wishes that you find that Disneyland Park as Starting Park ticket for your princess. A friend of mine was in this exact situation and she did manage to find a reservation as they counted down the days – I hope it works out for you, too!
Wishing you a magical visit,
Robyn
