Disney's Riviera Resort is an absolutely stunning hotel that has all the top-notch amenities that you could ask for. I haven't stayed there personally, but I have toured the grounds and eaten at various dining locations within the resort. The theming is spot-on gives you a great sense of what staying somewhere along the Italian Riviera may feel like. Having the
Disney Skyliner station steps away from the resort makes travel to a couple of the parks and resorts as easy as could be. Plus, it's one of the most fun ways to get from place to place. It's an attraction all by itself!
A six-day ticket with the
Park Hopper Option added on is the perfect length of stay to do everything you hope to. Having this option will allow you to visit multiple parks within the same day. Being on the Disney Skyliner path, you can very easily start your day at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, fly back in the afternoon for a mid-day pool break, then head to
EPCOT for the evening festivities. It opens up a lot of options for you to be flexible with your time and not be at the mercy of a bus every time.
The new service that essentially took the place of the old FastPass system is Disney Genie+. By purchasing Disney Genie+, you will be able to book times to ride select attractions without having to wait in the standby queue. Depending on how you purchased your tickets, you should have been given the option to add on
Disney Genie+ for your entire length of stay. You'll want to make sure you created a
My Disney Experience account and have downloaded the
My Disney Experience App. Here you can link your tickets, make park reservations, view your resort hotel, and make any Disney Genie+ selections. On each of your parks days, you will need to log on to the app to make your first selection starting at 7 AM.
To ensure that you made this add-on purchase, I would suggest looking back at your confirmation emails. It should state that Disney Genie+ was purchased along with your park tickets. You can also give the
Existing Tickets line a call and speak to a Cast Member to confirm your purchase. They are always more than happy to assist and get you ready for your arrival day.
