Hey there, hi there, ho there, Kelly! You’re as welcome as can be to planDisney! It’s great to see you back here, though I wish it were under happier circumstances!
I’m so sorry you haven’t been able to use your
Disneyland Resort theme-park tickets yet this year. I know how much time and preparation goes into planning a visit, so I understand how frustrating this can be. Unfortunately, I don’t think you’ll be able to get a gift card or a refund for the ticket your grandchild won’t be able to use. However, I do have some good news for you! Since your expiration date is January 12, 2021 (which I saw from a previous question you sent in) your expiration date
will be extended to December 16, 2021! So, hopefully this will give you enough time to get your grandchild back to enjoy the magic once the theme parks reopen. Even if your grandchild isn’t able to make it by that date, your tickets should retain their value for the amount you initially paid for them. So, once the parks reopen and you’re able to reschedule your grandchild’s visit, you’ll be able to bring your ticket information and have the value applied toward your new ticket purchase if it's after December 16.
If you have any additional ticket questions, you can also call our Guest Information Ticket Sales and Service Team at (714) 781-4636 and a Cast Member will be happy to help you.
Once the parks do reopen, keep in mind that
reservations will be required. I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog,
Disneyland.com, and the
Disneyland app for all the latest updates and information.
In the meantime, I recommend
“Cooking Up the Magic at Home” with these delicious recipes on the Disney Parks Blog! I can’t wait to try these
Gingerbread-Cream Cheese Muffins! Or, how about starting the day with some yummy
POG Breakfast Juice? I can taste the tropical flavors now!
Wishing you a magical year ahead, Kelly! May all your Disney dreams come true in 2021!
