Alex from WV Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We bought 10 Day 1 Park a day tickets. We are coming down to WDW next week for 14 Days and we were thinking of upgrading our tickets to Annual Passes. So if we go to Epcot our first day then decide to upgrade our tickets to APs we won't lose FPs right?

Hi Alex! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The fact that you are arriving in a few days for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is exciting, but the thought of you also becoming an Annual Passholder on this trip is even more thrilling!

I absolutely LOVE being an Annual Passholder. Between saving money on Walt Disney World tickets by having an Annual Pass, Annual Passholder discounts at many dining and merchandise locations AND having PhotoPass downloads included in my Annual Pass, I have found a ton of value in being an Annual Passholder!

I spoke with a Cast Member to verify that you will NOT lose your FastPass+ selections when you upgrade to your shiny new Annual Passes! I would make sure to mention it to the Cast Member assisting you in upgrading your tickets, then check your My Disney Experience account once the upgrade is complete. I like to make extra, extra sure things are still in place.

I suggest downloading the My Disney Experience mobile app prior to your trip. You can see your FastPass+ selections and change or make new selections on-the-go, as well as check wait times, view your PhotoPass pictures, make dining reservations and even use Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering!

Enjoy your upcoming vacation, Alex! Let us know if you have any other questions!
