I just bought my 3 day hopper Genie + tickets online and got them emailed to me, I bought 4 of them, all of them have my name on them digitally. When I link them to the disney account to resserve, do I change the names or keep them all under my name

    Hiya, Tajinder!

Ooh! A party of four going to the Disneyland Resort together. It sounds so exciting. It’s even better that you opted for the flexibility of Park Hopper tickets and the extra magic of the Disney Genie+ service. Wise choices!

Having unique names linked to your theme park tickets can help make things a little smoother when hopping between theme parks. And it’s really helpful if you plan on splitting up your party during your visits, including making separate Lightning Lane reservations. If you would like to modify the names on the tickets, you can reach out to a Cast Member with the Tickets phone line.

But if you don’t mind keeping track of which Guest is using which ticket ID or maybe shuffling members of your party around as you align them with the correct tickets as you scan into parks, it’s usually OK if the names don’t match exactly the Guest using the tickets.

Even the California resident ticket offer should be fine if that’s the ticket type you have purchased. Cast Members will verify eligibility for that offer by checking the photo ID of each adult in your party. When a ticket is activated, the Cast Member takes a photograph of the ticket holder and digitally links it to the ticket. When the ticket is used after activation, the digital photo is used to verify each ticket holder rather than their photo ID.

Tony’s Tip: For the ultimate simplicity in aligning each Guest with their assigned ticket, you can’t beat using the optional MagicBand+. Once you verify which Guest is using which ticket ID, you can assign their MagicBand+ to that ticket ID using the Disneyland mobile app. From then on, you’ll know for sure the right person is using the right ticket because they are wearing it! And even if you happen to mix up tickets and MagicBand+, that’s OK. The Disneyland app lets you remove the ticket assignment of a MagicBand+ and assign it to another ticket linked to your account very easily.

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Tajinder. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
