Hello, hello there, Sarah! Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question!
I bet you're counting down the days until your magical vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth, my friend. After all, you're in the final stretch now! When I find myself one month away from traveling to the
Disneyland Resort, I like to watch my favorite classic movies on
Disney+ and a couple of attraction ride-through videos on YouTube. You could also try making homemade churros and Dole Whip!
Sarah, I just have one question to ask you... where do I get a friend like that? Haha! But seriously, I think it's so nice that your friend sent you Disneyland tickets as a gift. However, you should know that
tickets may not be transferred, refunded, sold, bartered, or exchanged for goods, services or benefits, and they are not valid for special or premium events or other activities which are separately priced. Unfortunately, this means that you will not be able to exchange them for dining credits of any kind.
Even though this isn't the news that you were expecting to hear, I am ecstatic to let you know that you will be able to use those tickets in the future, as long as you take the time to change the dates through your Disney account. Otherwise, please note that the amount paid for any wholly unused and expired tickets may be applied towards the purchase of new Theme Park admission tickets at the current price so long as the new purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original tickets. Definitely keep those tickets safe, and use them whenever you're ready to return to the magic!
Please don't hesitate to come running right back to us with any and all questions you might still have, Sarah. We're always available and happy to help!
See you real soon!
