Hello and welcome to planDisney, Briana. We're so glad you stopped by to share this question with us and we're even happier to help you prepare for your visit.
It sounds like you have a magical three days planned at the Disneyland Resort. You can absolutely have a name changed on an unused ticket. To do this, you can call the
Tickets phone line to speak with a friendly Cast Member for assistance. You can make this change anytime before your visit. While names are required when purchasing your tickets on the website, they are used more for organizational purposes in the
Disneyland app rather than for identification purposes. When your tickets are scanned at the entrance gate, each person's picture will be taken and then attached to that ticket and used as the ticket holder's identification for the duration of your trip. Names won't be checked and matched up to tickets at the gate, so changing the names isn't necessary. However, I can certainly understand if you'd like things to be practically perfect.
It's going to be an exciting year at Disneyland. If you haven't already, I recommend checking out the
2026 Calendar to see what fun events might be taking place during your visit. I'm looking forward to the
Lunar New Year celebration in Disney California Adventure Park. There are so many delicious Asian inspired eats to enjoy during this time of year.
Well, Briana, I hope this helps to put your mind at ease. If we can help with anything else, please come back to visit us with any other questions. Until then, here's wishing you a most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
