Hi there! I bought 2-Day Disneyland Park Hopper tickets before covid in December 2019 and haven’t been able to use them. Is there a way to get a refund for my tickets after the park closed due to covid?

    Hello Chloe,

It's wonderful to see you here at planDisney. It's my hope that there's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow ahead of you that showcases a magical visit for you to the Disneyland Resort!

While theme park tickets for the Disneyland Resort are nonrefundable with their standard terms and conditions, the good news is that you can very likely make use of the tickets you purchased in some way.

The Disneyland Resort did extend the expiration dates for select theme park ticket types for Guests who had purchased theme park tickets before or during the theme park closure. You can take a look at the "Modifications and Cancellations" section of the "Theme Park Tickets & Reservations" information to see the details on the extended ticket expirations.

I can also share with you that the price you paid for theme park tickets can typically be applied to the purchase of new theme park tickets if your tickets are expired and unused.

Chloe, my suggestion is to give a call to the Disneyland Resort Ticket Services team at (714) 781-4636. You can talk with a Cast Member who can give you guidance based on the specific theme park tickets that you previously purchased.

Here's wishing you lots of fun when you visit the Disneyland Resort, Chloe!

And here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
