Bought 3 day California resident ticket but can’t go due to job. How can I change tickets to my family member?

    Hello Matilde!

Thanks for bringing your question our way and welcome to planDisney

The SoCal Resident Ticket was an amazing deal! I’m so sorry that you’re unable to use your tickets. But you are so sweet to gift the tickets to a family member. Even though the tickets are currently associated with your name, you are welcome to give the wholly-unused tickets to someone else who can use them. Once the ticket is scanned at the theme park entrance turnstiles, it will be properly tied to the new person and their picture will be taken.

Please note, the SoCal Resident Ticket does require proof of Southern California residency. So, your family member should bring a government-issued ID with them to the Disneyland Resort. The ID should have a photo and reflect eligible residency within ZIP codes 90000-93599.

I hope this information is helpful. Head back to planDisney with more questions!
