Hey there, hi there, Rachel! We appreciate you dropping by planDisney with your question!
Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that you purchased a
Southern California Resident Weekday Offer ticket and it doesn't work with your dates. That's a real bummer! During the checkout process on Disneyland's website, it should have asked you to make theme park ticket reservations for each day of your ticket on the calendar from the ticket's available dates. If you want to visit on a weekend date then this ticket won't work for you. I do have some good news and that is this ticket type is able to be upgraded to a theme park ticket of equal or greater value. This means you could upgrade it to a multiday ticket that is equal to or greater than the price of your special offer ticket which would allow you to visit on the weekend. The downside to this is that, unlike your Southern California Offer ticket, a multiday ticket does need to be used within 13 days of the first day of use. The really great thing about the Southern California Offer ticket is that it can be used for any three available days throughout the ticket validity dates.
There are so many great experiences coming to the Disneyland Resort in the next few months, including
Lunar New Year,
Disney100 Celebration,
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway attraction opening, and more. I really hope that you are able to upgrade your ticket or rearrange your plans so that you are able to enjoy Disneyland Resort soon.
Rachel, thanks again for stopping by! We'd love to see you again if you have any other planning questions for us.
