theme park reservations are no longer required on date-based 1-day or multi-day tickets. Since it sounds like you purchased a
5-Day, 1 Park Per Day Ticket with a selected start date in October, you should not need to make theme park reservations for your trip. If you'd like, you can
reach out to a Cast Member at Tickets and Hotel Reservations, who can view your linked tickets and confirm that reservations aren't required.
While theme park reservations may not be required for your visit, now is the perfect time to start making your
advanced dining reservations if you haven't already. I usually make a reservation for one
Table-Service restaurant per day, as this gives our family a chance to slow down and enjoy a great meal together, while also leaving enough flexibility in the rest of our schedule to experience the magic of Walt Disney World at our own pace. I also recommend checking out what I like to call "value-added" dining reservations - character dining like at
Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT, dining packages such as the
Fantasmic! Dining Packages at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and dinner shows like the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. These are always highlights for me on each trip!
