Hi, so we bought 4 1day adult passes and 1 child day pass in February 2020 for March 2020. We went and Disney land was closed due to Covid-19. All of our tickets expire in September 2020. My question is are we able to use all our ticket in 2021?

Hey howdy hey, Yvonne! You’ve got a friend in me at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

First off, I’m so sorry that the Disneyland Resort theme parks were closed during your March vacation. I know how frustrating that must have been for you and your family. Though we’re still waiting for a reopening date for the Disneyland Resort hotels and theme parks, I’m looking forward to the reopening of Downtown Disney District on July 9!

I started by checking the “Update on Disneyland Resort Operations” page, where I found that unused single-day tickets are valid for a future visit through the end of the validity period on the tickets. It’s recommended that you check your individual tickets for details regarding your expiration date. Here’s a helpful page that breaks down the different types of 1-day tickets, too. I checked the “Help with Tickets” page, and it shows when your 1-day tickets can be used based on the type of tickets you purchased (Value, Regular, or Peak). So, it sounds like your expiration will remain at September 2020, from the information I can see here. However, I have good news, too! Even if you aren’t able to use your tickets until after your expiration date, the amount paid for the tickets will be retained, and can be applied toward the purchase of new tickets at any Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth. So, you won’t have to worry about losing the value you’ve already paid for these tickets! For additional ticket questions, you can also call (714) 781-4636, and a Cast Member will be happy to help you.

As we await the reopening of our happy place, I recommend checking out this page to get an idea of what to expect when the parks do reopen. Though things may look a little different than we’re used to, I can’t wait to experience Disney magic once again! To bring some of that magic home this summer, I also recommend checking out these #DisneyMagicMoments on the Disney Parks Blog! These posts offer a great way to sprinkle some pixie dust at home, be it through delicious Disney Parks recipes, or virtual rides on our favorite attractions.

Wishing you and your family a magical summer, Yvonne. We hope to see ya’ real soon!
