Hi there Kate,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you very much for this question. First, my sincerest condolences for your family's loss - I'm very sorry to hear this and hope you all are finding healing.
In terms of your previously scheduled visit to the Disneyland Resort, I'm happy to share that this should be fairly straightforward to get rescheduled.
To enter one of the parks of the Disneyland Resort, you need both valid
theme park tickets and
theme park reservations for each day you plan to visit. Theme park tickets just need to be used before their expiration date, which is typically a pretty wide window. For example, if you purchased theme park tickets today then they would not expire until January 12, 2026. The easiest way to check the expiration date on your tickets is to search for the purchase confirmation in your email inbox - just search for "Disneyland Confirmation."
As for your originally scheduled theme park reservations, these can also be rescheduled just about at any time. Typically, an easy way to do this is through the
My Plans hub, but since you had reservations scheduled and were not able to make it, you will likely need to
call a Cast Member at the Guest Information line to help walk through the next steps on getting that park reservation reset so you can make new reservations when you're ready to visit.
I'm hopeful that you'll be able to reschedule your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth soon, Kate! As you continue to plan for that trip, know that we're here to help with any other questions that might come up. Also, make sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for all the news you need to know about what is happening around the parks.
Thanks again for your question, Kate! Have a magical day,
Greg
