Welcome to planDisney Ashley! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question. I’m excited to hear you’re getting everything set up for your upcoming
Walt Disney World adventure, there’s always a special kind of excitement when those plans start coming together. Managing tickets ahead of time is a great way to make your arrival smooth and stress free, and I’m happy to help you understand how your little one’s ticket works in the app and Apple Wallet.
Your 4 year old’s ticket is linked under your account even though it isn’t showing up in your Apple Wallet. Disney doesn’t create separate Apple Wallet passes for children since kids under 13 can’t have their own Disney accounts. Instead, their ticket lives inside the
My Disney Experience app under the adult who manages them.
If you open the app and go to the Tickets & Passes section, you should see your ticket, your husband’s ticket, and then your child’s ticket as you swipe through. As long as it appears there, everything is linked correctly.
When you arrive at the park, you’ll simply open your app and the Cast Member will scan your ticket, then swipe to scan your child’s. If you prefer something physical, Guest Relations or any ticket window can provide a Key to the World Card for your child. A
MagicBand+ linked to her profile works too and acts as her ticket automatically.
Ashley, I hope this clears things up and helps you feel confident and ready as you finalize your plans for your family’s magical visit. Thank you for visiting planDisney with your question. Wishing you and your little one a smooth start at the gates, plenty of joy throughout your trip, and all the pixie dust along the way!
