Hello there, Carola. Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by to ask us your question. Spending a day at the Disneyland Resort with your cousin sounds like so much fun!
I also just love hearing how you have such a big heart and purchased your cousin's ticket for them. I hate to be the bearer of unfortunate news, however,
theme park tickets are nonrefundable. On the bright side, not all is lost. You can still use the theme park ticket you purchased for your cousin up until its expiration date. Even if you aren't able to use the ticket before it expires, you can still apply the value of a wholly unused expired ticket towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket at the current price as long as the new purchase price is greater than or equal to the price paid for the original ticket.
It looks like your visit with your cousin will be just shortly after the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort arrive. How joyous and what a merry time you will have. A few of my must-dos during this time of year are to catch
A Christmas Fantasy Parade, take a cruise on "it's a small world" Holiday and eat my way through the
Disney Festival of Holidays. The best way to enjoy the Disney Festival of Holidays (in my opinion) is with a Sip and Savor Pass for the
Festive Foods Marketplace to try as many of the delicious eats and treats. You can even share or split the pass with your cousin.
Although this is not the answer you were hoping for, Carola, I hope the information is still helpful. I hope that you are able to find another day in the future to make another visit to the Happiest Place on Earth to make use of this theme park ticket. Please come back to see us with any other questions that we can help with.
