I support your desire to experience holiday magic at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks as soon as possible. Your vacation countdown is officially in the single digits, so the wait is almost over! You'll be walking down Main Street, U.S.A., and waving to Mickey Mouse in the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade before you can say, "Bibbidi bobbidi boo!"
I understand you'd like to shift the valid use period of your theme park tickets to align with your travel plans. Let's do it! Start by making sure each ticket is linked to a My Disney Experience account or account profile, which requires the confirmation number you received from Costco. Once that's done, here's how to change the valid use date of a theme park ticket in the My Disney Experience mobile app, though similar steps can be done online:
- Click the three small lines at the bottom right of the app's homepage > Tickets and Passes.
- Scroll to a desired ticket and click "Change Ticket" with the pencil icon beneath the ticket's information.
- Select all of the tickets you wish to modify (this requires you to be connected with your party as Family & Friends).
- Click the pencil icon next to "Valid Ticket Dates." Confirm the start date of your new valid use period. If there is a change in ticket price, that amount will be shown on the calendar and must be paid as part of the modification process.
- Once all desired changes are made, click "Check Out" to complete the ticket modification process.
Please note that date-based can be modified anytime before midnight EST of the day before the ticket's first use date. If you run into any problems, a helpful Cast Member at the
Existing Tickets number is ready to assist. Once the change is made, don't forget to consult the
theme park reservation availability calendar and make your
theme park reservations for each day.
