I bought the So Cal 3 day ticket for my 15 year old son. We just downloaded the Disney app to his phone. How do I transfer his tickets?

Hey there, hi there, Tanya! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by with your question for us.

I'm so glad that you were able to take advantage of the Southern California Resident Ticket Offer, which is such a great way to get in a few visits for a discounted price. If you want to add a ticket to a Disney account or Disneyland app, all you will need to do is link the ticket number or barcode. To do this, open the app and tap on the three horizontal lines on the bottom right of the screen. Then tap on "My Tickets & Passes". At the top right, you will see a plus sign and this is where you will choose "Link Tickets & Passes". This will give you the option to use your phone's camera to scan the barcode if you have the ticket already linked to another account or if you have the barcode available from your email. You can also type in the ticket ID number in your confirmation email and link it that way.

Now that we are in the final two weeks to use this ticket offer it's important that you make sure you have all your theme park reservations booked for this ticket before they fill up. Theme park reservations are required along with a ticket for theme park admission. Also, make note that this month there are Disneyland After Dark events and Grad Nite events that have the parks closing early on certain nights. Be sure to check out the calendar to see if that will affect any of your visits and allow you to plan accordingly.

Tanya, thanks so much for stopping by! See you real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
