Welcome to planDisney, Sanjana! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. With your trip coming up next week, it's a great time to think about getting your
Annual Passes all set up, so I'm happy to walk you through how to assign your passes to the correct people.
Get started by opening up the
My Disney Experience app, tap the main menu button in the bottom-right corner, and select "My Tickets & Passes." You'll see your tickets and passes in a carousel on the screen, and swipe until you find the Annual Pass you want to move to your husband. Right under the pass, tap "Reassign Ticket." A list of your connected family and friends will pop up, choose your husband's name, confirm, and you're done! The pass will jump from your profile to his, and it'll be waiting in his account for activation on your first park day.
If you don't see "Reassign Ticket," a couple of quick fixes usually solve it. First, make sure your husband has his own Disney account, and that you're connected in Family & Friends. If he just created his account, have him share his linking code from his Family & Friends screen, and you can add that in your app so the two profiles sync. Then pop back to My Tickets & Passes and try to reassign again.
A quick heads up for you: reassignment works for passes that have not been activated, like yours, but once a pass is activated or used, it's locked to that person. If anything looks odd to you in My Disney Experience, or the reassign button doesn't appear, give a call to the
Annual Passholders hotline, and they'll help you out over the phone.
Have a magical day, Sanjana!
