Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Henry. Thanks for stopping by with your question.
Welcome to the
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder family, Henry. I've been a passholder for years now and I absolutely love it! Being able to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks pretty much anytime I have a free weekend is so much fun. Plus, the extra perks like discounts on food, merchandise and select resort stays are pretty great too.
Henry, the current expiration date that you are seeing is actually the date that you have to activate your
Walt Disney World Annual Pass by. Once you use it for the first time, let's say on June 21st, you will see a new expiration date reflected. You have one year to use your Walt Disney World Annual Pass from the first time that you use it to enter a Walt Disney World Theme Park. So if you do use it on June 21, 2022, you would have until June 21, 2023, to enjoy all of your passholder benefits.
If you don't activate your Walt Disney World Annual Pass by the October expiration date that you are seeing, you don't necessarily lose out on your annual pass, Henry. What you'll need to do is visit Guest Relations and speak to a Cast Member or call the V.I.Passholder support line. You will still have the value of that annual pass but If the price of Walt Disney World Annual Passes has gone up from when you purchased you'll just need to pay the difference. Then, you'll see another expiration date reflected on your account and again this is only the date by which you need to activate your annual pass by.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion you might have had about your Walt Disney World Annual Pass, Henry. If you have any other questions about this, or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun!
Jackie H.
