Hi Savannah! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by and sending us your question.
Being a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder is such a great way to visit the magic often! I know that sometimes plans can change and vacations have to be postponed. With the purchase of an annual pass, an expiration date of one year is set until the pass is activated during the first day it's used. Then, the new expiration is set to be 365 days from the date of first use. If you choose not to use it before the initial expiration date, you won't lose the money that you have spent, however, no refunds will be given. According to the
Disney Annual Pass Terms & Conditions at Walt Disney World Resort, the amount you paid for the unactivated, expired pass may be applied towards the purchase of a new Annual Pass or ticket at the then current price so long as the new pass or ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original Pass. The then current terms, conditions, and privileges associated with the newly purchased pass or ticket will apply at that time.
When you are ready to visit
The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to make
theme park reservations with your new pass or ticket. If you have planning questions, you've got a friend in us at
planDisney and we would be happy to help!
Wishing you magic!
Smiles,
Lisa
