Hey Kelly, welcome to planDisney!
It looks like your visit is coming up soon so let’s get your mom’s Annual Pass situated.
As long as an Annual Pass has not been activated, it can be reassigned. In your My Disney Experience app, click the ≡ symbol at the bottom right of the screen. Then select the “My Tickets & Passes” tile. This page will show you the tickets you purchased or tickets associated with Guests from your Family & Friends List. Scroll to find the Annual Pass intended for your mom, and under the pass there should be an option to “Reassign Ticket.” You need to have your mom
connected through your Family & Friends List for her name to be listed as an option.
You can also complete this process on the Walt Disney World website. Once you log in, visit “My Plans” and scroll down to “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets.” Select “Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker” then find the ticket you’d like to reassign to your mom.
If you purchased a Florida Resident Annual Pass and your mom is not a Florida Resident, you will not be able to reassign it to her. If she is a Florida Resident, she may need to visit a Guest Relations window to provide
proof of Florida Residency before she can use the ticket.
If you’re unable to complete the ticket reassignment on your own, I recommend calling the number listed here under “
Annual Passholders” for assistance from a Cast Member. I suggest having some information about your mom’s account on hand, such as the e-mail associated with her My Disney account.
I hope I helped get you on the right track, Kelly. Thinking of visiting Disney World with my mom reminded me that Galentine’s Day is coming up, and
Disney Parks Blog recently shared an article with lots of ideas on how to
celebrate Galentine’s Day at home. Maybe you and your mom can grab a sweet treat to share and enjoy some “gal” time in the parks together! If you have any more questions, come back and see us at
