Hi there, Cheryl!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Alaskan adventure will be here before you know it and let me tell you…it’s going to be a good one! My family sailed through Alaska just last month and it was simply incredible! We had the best time and are already looking at booking another Alaskan voyage because there is just so much to see and do.
While you will often find Halloween-themed sailings beginning in early September, your specific itinerary is not considered a Halloween on the High Seas voyage so you will not have any Halloween-themed events or activities while onboard. Additionally, because of environmental restrictions, fireworks are not permitted while sailing through Alaska so therefore you will not have a Pirate Night. Instead, though, be prepared for a fun
Frozen-themed deck party and dinner service while onboard! The Pirate Night deck parties are always exciting, but the Frozen-themed deck party is just as fun with everyone’s favorites – Queen Elsa, Princess Anna and Olaf! And, while all voyages have varying schedules of onboard entertainment, my family’s recent voyage also included a
Pixar Pals Party one day where we got to meet – and dance with – all the favorite Pixar friends!
If you are still looking at options as to how to spend your days in port, Cheryl, I can highly recommend visiting Mendenhall Glacier while in Juneau! And I am so excited that you will get to visit
Icy Strait Point, too! That was one of our favorite stops on our itinerary…. we went on a whale watching excursion there and had some incredible wildlife sightings in addition to the numerous whales we saw! There is also a great little walking path that we enjoyed walking through before heading back to the ship at the end of the day!
Wishing you an adventure filled with magic and memories!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
