    Will the Boston Red Sox have a World Series Parade at Walt Disney World?

    Hi Julie,

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! 

    Even after using my best wayfinding skills, I could not yet confirm that the Boston Red Sox will have a World Series parade at the Walt Disney World Resort. Do not lose hope - the Disney Parks Blog followed the Houston Astros Magical World Series Championship Celebration last year. Parading down Main Street, U.S.A., the Astros lived the Disney magic for a few incredible moments. Like you, I would love to see the Boston Red Sox become a part of the dream as well - there is nothing quite like a parade in Magic Kingdom with Cinderella Castle as the backdrop.

    Since it sounds as if you are a sports fan, I shall also suggest that you keep an eye on the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Special Events schedule. The complex is amazing. On one of my visits last year as a spectator for a runDisney event, I stood there just imagining what it would be like to compete in that space. If you cannot get to the complex but still want to experience some sports camaraderie, try dining at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill located in the complex area or the ESPN Club located in the BoardWalk area. The sheer number of television possibilities in the ESPN Club astonishes me every time!
