Hello, Julia!
How exciting to have tickets to the Disneyland Resort from your boss. It’s like you have your very own Fairy Godmother! I’d love to be a boss like that. How fun it would be to grant magical wishes to everyone!
OK. I think I have experienced something like this before. I’m guessing that your sweet boss received a confirmation email with QR codes and/or 18-digit numbers. If you try to enter those numbers in the
Disneyland mobile app and you get a message that says “You entered an invalid number. Please try again,” then you may be using the theme park confirmation number rather than the
Disney eTicket number.
My recommendation is to request your boss send you a screenshot of the ticket or tickets from the Disneyland app. That can be found in the “Tickets and Passes” screen of the app. The eTicket will show a barcode along with the eTicket number below the barcode. From the Tickets and Passes screen of the app running on your mobile device, tap the plus symbol in the upper right-hand corner and then tap “Link Tickets & Passes.” You can either scan that barcode from the screenshot or enter the number manually. Looking at a ticket for my daughter that I have in my account right now, it looks to me like it will be a 19-digit number.
Alternatively, if your boss has an email with a link to “Access Your eTickets,” the link will open an eTicket viewer. That screen can be printed out and you can use that printout or a view of a screenshot of it from your device to scan in at the theme park entrance. Or you can link the number from the eTicket viewer to your Disneyland app as well.
I hope that helps get you on your way to an
adventure at the Disneyland Resort. If there are still lingering issues, a Cast Member at the main entrance ticket booth may be able to assist you as well.
Have a magical time, Julia!
