Welcome back, Jessielyn!
I’m thrilled to hEAR that you will be setting sail on the
Disney Wonder in September. A Baja cruise from San Diego stopping in Cabo San Lucas sounds like my idea of fun! Add in all that’s included on a Disney cruise and it’s going to be “practically perfect in every way.”
I’m glad you came back by to give us some extra details about your paperwork. You have a unique situation, so let me add a few other forms of identification that would be acceptable. (These are all outlined on the
Passport and Travel Documentation page on Disney Cruise Line's website.) You could use an Original Consular Report of Birth Abroad issued by the Department of State AND a Government-issued photo ID. Alternatively, an Original Certificate of Naturalization issued by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services AND a Government-issued photo ID would also work. Since you did say that you became a U.S. citizen as a child, I’m hoping that you have one of these documents.
I would look through all the documents that you have and if you still have questions, then give
Disney Cruise Line a call. I want to be certain that you have everything you need to make that boarding process smooth sailing!
With your travel documents in hand, you'll be hitting the high seas to Mexico in no time. Jessielyn, if you need any extra planning tips, don't hesitate to contact us again at planDisney!
SEA ya real soon!
