Hello, we just boooked our trip for September. It is my sons 5 bday, My moms 1st time, and our last trip in the states before we move to Germany. My question is how do I make it special for everyone? We have 5 adults and our 2 boys. staying at DD Resort.

    Hi, John!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your question. I bet your family is looking forward to visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this fall, especially since you’ll be celebrating multiple special occasions at “The Most Magical Place on Earth!”

Disney Floral & Gifts can help you celebrate by arranging for special Disney gifts and surprises to be delivered directly to your room at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. There are many gift baskets and bouquets to choose from that can be customized to a special occasion, favorite Disney character or theme. They create and arrange for delivery of the gift, along with a card and message from you. Your room can also be decorated to look like Mickey and the Gang stopped by to welcome your family and kick off the big celebration with some extra magic! Call the Dream Makers at (407) WDW-GIFT (939-4438) for more information.

Be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday button for your son when you go to the theme parks. It can even be customized with his name so he’ll receive personalized birthday wishes from Cast Members throughout your visit! You can pick up a similar souvenir button to commemorate your mother’s first visit and celebration buttons for everyone else in your party. Also, if you have any table-service meals planned during, don’t forget to tell your server you’re celebrating a special occasion. The birthday boy is likely to get a sweet treat at the end of your meal! Another option is to order a custom cake to be enjoyed after your lunch or dinner at most table-service restaurants. To order one of these personalized creations as a special surprise for your family, call (407) 827-2253.

I hope this helps, John, and that you have a pixie-dusted visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Please write back with more questions as your planning continues.

    Wishing you magic,
