Are there any bookstores in WDW? I have a 7 year old who loves to read on his own and a baby who loves to listen to stories. Also, what activities do they have for the kids at Simba's clubhouse at AK? My son will be there while we eat at Jiko. Thanks, Moms

    Hi Kim,

It sounds as if your son and I would get along quite nicely as I am a big fan of books too.  Walt Disney World doesn't have any stores that are dedicated solely to the sale of books but there are a number of places where you will find them on property.  I like the selection of books available in the World of Disney Store at Downtown Disney.  Most Disney resort gift shops will offer a limited selection too.  I also recommend that you check out the electronic media section of Once Upon a Toy (also at Downtown Disney).  That would be the most likely place for you to find recorded Disney stories for your daughter.

As for Simba's Cubhouse, your son will enjoy the opportunity to take part in crafts, electronic games, and Disney movies.  The counselors there are very nice.  I bet he'll have a fun evening while you dine at Jiko.

Wishing you many magical memories on your upcoming trip!
