When does 2024 books start and will it be capped off at a certain month? disneyworld has released all of next year but i want disneyland:(

    Welcome to planDisney, Madison!

I see that you're in that agonizing waiting stage. You're ready to book your next Disneyland vacation, however, vacation packages for 2024 have yet to be released. Oh, bother!

As you've mentioned, Walt Disney World Resort has already released its 2024 vacation packages. However, we're still waiting for Disneyland Resort to do the same.

Unfortunately, we haven't been told when 2024 bookings will become available for Disneyland Resort. In past years, room-only and vacation package bookings have been released in July and August. However, last year, they were released in September. Therefore, I would anticipate you being able to book your next Disney adventure sometime in July-September. In terms of it being capped off at a certain month, we haven't been told. I guess we'll just have to wait and see! Keep visiting Disney Parks Blog for any exciting announcements.

    I hope that's clarifying, Madison.

Where are you thinking about staying? If the budget allows, I would consider staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa offers premium accommodations, elegant dining, and next-level theming. Guests staying at this hotel can even use their own designated entrance to Disney California Adventure Park. Then there's the historic Disneyland Hotel. This is the first Disney hotel and is a perfect combination of nostalgia and modern design. There are some incredible dining experiences at this hotel too, especially Goofy's Kitchen and Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar. Finally, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel (soon to be reimagined at Disney's Pixar Place Hotel) will whisk you away to the heyday of California beachfront boardwalks. Guests staying at each of these three hotels are able to enter the theme parks 30 minutes before regular park opening. There's nothing like being immersed in the Disney magic from start to finish.

    Happy planning, Madison!
