Hi there Debra! I am super happy you stopped by and trusted planDisney as your first stop for planning such a special visit. I'll be more than happy to be your guide you to the right folks.
The
Vacation Planning Page is where I always start. This page will show all the new attractions and what
Special Offers are available for the dates you plan on visiting. Unfortunately, Disney no longer sends physical mailers out with planning DVDs or booklets to sit down with.
Disney Resort Collection guests have so many benefits while staying inside the magic. Besides reservations for a place to stay, each day that you intend on visiting a park will need a reservation, check the
Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar before you purchase your tickets.
After you make all your reservations and choose your resort, I have one piece of advice that will save you. Breaks, water, breaks, water. Did I mention taking breaks? The Florida sun isn't always easy on you. But if you start early and take a midday break on park days you will last til each park has its night-time spectacular. You also will want to take breaks in between park days. We love a good resort day where we visit the pools right after breakfast. The kids always want to check out the resort pools. Yes plural, most resorts have a main pool with water slides and a more quiet relaxed pool as well. If you are more comfortable on the phone than online you can always
Call Walt Disney World and a vacation specialist will be more than happy to customize a couple of quotes for your family's idea of vacation fun.
I hope this information was useful. And you should be excited about planning your magical memories. It's half the fun after all!
Have a magical day!
