Hi Caroline!
Your FIRST Disney Cruise Line vacation is coming up and now that you’ve hit the online booking window date, the time will really fly by! I always feel it takes FOREVER to get to that date, but then time seems to speed up after that point!
It looks like you are headed out on a FANTASTic adventure complete with a
Star Wars Day at Sea during your sailing! Oh, I am so excited for you and all the fun that awaits you onboard during your voyage. I understand being disappointed when you went to book the onboard activities, but please don’t get too discouraged! Disney Cruise Line does not keep a wait list for onboard activities, but Guests’ plans are always changing so I recommend checking back regularly to see if any activities open prior to your voyage. If you are unable to secure all the activities and excursions that you are hoping for, definitely check once you get onboard. I recommend going directly to the Port Adventures desk and Guest Services to see about securing some of those complimentary character experience tickets. If you are looking for adult-exclusive dining reservations or beverage tasting tickets, there will be a location onboard after embarkation where you can go to request those activities. Check the Daily Navigator that you receive when you arrive at the port for check-in for these locations and hours.
In addition to the activities that are available for pre-reservation, there are so many other things to do onboard and I can guarantee that you won’t find yourself bored during your time onboard. Make sure you have the
Navigator app downloaded to your smartphone to have a full schedule of events and entertainment throughout the entire week!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
