Hello! We have a booking for a week in December, we are to stay at the rury Plaza. We are 2 adults and 4 children and booked the 2 queen suite (separate bedroom) but it seems tight? Do you think we will be ok or better to ask for 2 rooms? TIA

Hi there, Pamela!  Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

You and your family are going to love visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season!  You'll find festive fun at all four theme parks, and this year, Walt Disney World Resort is offering two different options for specially ticketed holiday events.  Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is returning to Magic Kingdom Park this year, and for the first time, Disney's Hollywood Studios is hosting its own holiday party called Disney Jollywood Nights.  It's sure to be one of the most magical holiday seasons ever!

I'm sure you're going to enjoy your stay at the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista.  This property is an Official Walt Disney World Hotel and offers many benefits such as early theme park entry.  The Drury Plaza Hotel is located just half a mile from Disney Springs and offers shuttle service to all four Walt Disney World theme parks.

The two-room suites at the Drury Plaza Hotel have two queen beds and one queen-size sleeper sofa.  These suites can sleep up to six adults.  I think the space will be adequate for your family of six, but if you'd rather spread out and have an additional bathroom, you could consider booking two regular rooms instead of the suite.

To help you make your decision, I would recommend considering how much time you'll be spending in your hotel room.  For instance, when I visit Walt Disney World Resort with my husband and two teenage children, we usually all stay in one standard room.  It's a tight fit, but we're really only ever in our room to shower and sleep.  If that's all you're planning to use your hotel room for, then you'll probably be fine in the two-room suite.  However, if you think you'll spend more time at the hotel, then you could consider booking separate rooms.

I hope that this information helps as you finalize your vacation plans.  If you have any other questions, please stop by planDisney again at any time.  Wishing you and your family a happy holiday season and a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
