Monica from Mexico Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I will be booking WDW vacation package, my baby would be 2 years old on the check in, he will turn 3 DURING my vacation. In order to book the correct package (with or without tickets for the baby), does the policy applies at check in or for the whole trip?

¡Hola, Monica! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. I love helping my fellow Mexicans plan their magical vacations!

The Walt Disney World Resort requires all Guests to have a ticket starting at three years old with one exception, and that exception is Vacation Package tickets! Basically, the ticketing system is unable to sell a different ticket from the rest of the travel party, so the exception is made for those Guests that go from age two to three during their vacation.

Monica, since you will be booking a Vacation Package, you won't need to purchase a ticket for your baby. However, please keep in mind that this exception applies only to Vacation Packages, and if you change your mind and decide to purchase the tickets separately, you will need to purchase tickets for your baby on the day he turns three years old.

I sincerely hope this helps! If you have any other questions in English o en españolplease don't hesitate to reach back out to us so we can assist you further. Have a magical weekend!

    Warm hugs,
