Booking with WDW from the UK, can someone explain why we have to have two booking references? A UK accommodation reference and a US ADR reference? Why can't one reference do all? Will we be able to online check in if US site has no accommodation listed?

    Hi Diane,

The Walt Disney Travel Company is a travel agent and as such the booking reference which you receive from them when you made your accommodation booking is relative only to their computer system.

You need to obtain your US confirmation number from them in order to make your Advanced Dining Reservations online and to complete online check-in prior to your arrival at Walt Disney World.

If you click on the 'My Reservations' tab (located just underneath where it says PARKS) on the Walt Disney World website and enter your US confirmation number along with the lead passenger surname, the computer system will retrieve your accommodation booking.

I hope that this has answered your question. Please feel free to ask another question if I can be of any further help.

    Wishing you a magical holiday!
