Hi, we are booking a Walt Disney Woled honeymoon. We want the dining plan, but is it possible to only have it for some of your holiday. We are staying 14 nights, could we only have 7 nights of dining plan? How would that work once there and with booking?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kristie! You are going to love your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort honeymoon. My husband and I spent ours there in 2012, and I can tell you first-hand that there is so much fun to be had as a couple! We really enjoyed exploring the theme parks at our own pace, some incredible meals, and most of all, quality time together.

When we went on our honeymoon, my husband and I opted to use the Disney Dining Plan because we wanted to experience all the delicious food that's on offer at Walt Disney World Resort. We use it almost every time we go now because we love the ease and convenience of having all of our meals taken care of in advance. When you add the Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package, it is added for every night of your stay at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. At the moment, there is not a way to add it for only part of your stay, but I do have some suggestions for you if you find yourself with a few extra credits. I love combining two Table-Service Dining Plan credits to enjoy a meal at a signature restaurant. Signature dining experiences are usually more quiet, intimate, and romantic, and the food is absolutely stellar. Some of my favorites are Jiko - The Cooking Place at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the most memorable meal of my honeymoon, Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Both of those restaurants require two Table-Service credits to eat there and are a great option especially if you don't plan on using a Table-Service credit every single night of your stay.

    Have a magical day, Kristie!
