Hi, we have a booking at Wailulu Grill for an early dinner. If we drive to the Poly, can we park there and then leave the car, while we walk to MK after dinner to watch the parade and fireworks? Or can we only park there for a limited time while dining?

    Hey there, Katie!

I’m so happy to welcome you to planDisney, and I appreciate you bringing your question our way! Your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is coming up quickly, and before you know it, you’ll be there enjoying all the magic. You must be getting so excited!

I have a Walt Disney World visit coming up in a couple of months myself, and I’m getting close to the point where I can make my own Advanced Dining Reservations. It’s such an exciting time!

How lucky you were to snag a reservation at Wailulu Bar & Grill in the Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort! A few of my planDisney pals have had the chance to dine there, and they’ve had nothing but great things to say about it. I’m sure you’re in for a delicious meal!

The good news is that your dining reservation allows you to park at the Polynesian for the duration of your meal. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to move your vehicle once you’re finished dining. If you’re planning to head over to Magic Kingdom afterward, an easy option is to relocate your car to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). From there, you can hop aboard the ferryboat or Monorail over to Magic Kingdom. Then, you'll be able to enjoy the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away nighttime parade and Happily Ever After fireworks!

Katie, I hope you have a great trip and enjoy your dining experience at Wailulu! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney!

    Magical Wishes,
