Booking our 3rd trip(before our 2nd lol) and am deciding between GF and Cont. Pics of GF rooms show them looking kinda worn out compared to Cont but we like the GF resort itself better. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

    Hi Lyndi,

My parents stayed in a beautifully refurbished room at the Grand Floridian less than a month ago.  I have read on a number of online sites that a refurbishment of all guest rooms has been completed as of late 2010. I confirmed this with a cast member at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort just this morning.  You should be aware, however, that the Grand Floridian is currently undergoing an exterior refurbishment.  They only work on portions of the resort at any given time, but if an exterior refurbishment might bother you, you may want to book at Disney's Contemporary Resort for your upcoming trip (particularly if the trip is fast-approaching).

    Wishing you a magical vacation,

    Jill
