Booking a trip for 11-3 till 11-10. How are the crowds for this time of year? We will be a group of 11. Is this a good time of the year to still catch fall decorations a see Christmas decorations at the same time?

    Hi Erin,

Early November is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World resort. The weather is nice and the crowds are relatively low. You can enjoy the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and have an opportunity to attend the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party of the season.

That week is when the decorations begin to transition between fall and Christmas. At Magic Kingdom, the transformation seems to occur overnight after the final Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which is usually on Oct. 31 or Nov. 1. Since the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is normally a few days later, on the first Friday night of November, it's a quick change.

You probably won't see any holiday decorations at Epcot until after the Food and Wine Festival ends, but the other parks and the resorts may be starting to add their festive touches during your visit.

Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as you plan your visit. Enjoy!
