Hi, We are booking a trip next year for 4 people for most of the trip. We want to stay in one of the family suites at art of animation, but want to invite my uncle for a couple days. Could we get a cot? We won’t exceed 5 people. Is that possible? Thank you

    Hey there, Miranda!

Welcome to planDisney, we are so happy to have you. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is one of my most favorite resorts to visit! The Family Suites are just fantastic and the Cars-themed one is my family’s favorite.

Miranda, unfortunately, you won’t be able to add a cot or rollaway bed since the Family Suites do accommodate up to 6 Adults. Each suite has 1 queen bed, 1 double-sized table bed, and 1 double six sleeper sofa. So there’s plenty of room to spread out. I honestly just love the 2 bathrooms. It gives me some space to get ready while my little Mouseketeers have a separate restroom to use for themselves.

If you do need some more space, you may want to consider switching from Disney’s Art of Animation Resort to a villa at a different resort. Depending on the number of bedrooms, villas can accommodate anywhere from 4 to 12 adults.

I can’t wait to hear all about your trip. I just know you and your family will have a magical time. Let us know if there's anything else we can do to help.

    See ya real soon!

When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for!
