We are booking a trip for May 27th to June 2nd 2012. We went same time last year and got free dining. I am wondering if I can make ressies and then if free dining should come out do I need to change anything? Or can I just tell them at table when they ask?

Hi Tessa, For most of the dining reservations, you can just let the server know you will be using the Dining Plan when you sit down to eat or when/if you get the free dining offer, you can call and have this noted on all your dining reservations ahead of time (but it's not necessary). If you are dining at Cinderella's Royal Table for example, this dining experience will require payment in full when you make the reservation, but if you do get the Dining Plan, you can let them know ahead of time or on your reservation day and they can refund the amount on your credit card and deduct your meal entitlements from your Dining Plan instead (I had this done about a year ago, but rules and regulations are subject to change so you may want to verify directly with WDW that this "refund" policy is still in effect in this situation or if there are other rules in place now). Hope this helps! Best wishes, Brigitta
