Hi, I am booking a trip on the Fantasy. My daughter will have just turned 11 (traveling without a companion). My concern is that Vibe may be too independent for her, will the counselors help her make friends? Can she go to Oceaneer's Club instead?

Hi Matthew! If your daughter's birthday falls within two months of turning eleven, she can be registered into Edge, the tweens club aboard the Disney Fantasy. This space is reserved exclusively for children ages 11 to 13 years. It has some of the best counselors aboard any ship on the high seas. They are super friendly and will definitely do everything they can to make your daughter feel very comfortable there. Please note, when you do your online check-in, your daughter will most likely be listed as eligible for Disney's Oceaneer Lab. You may certainly register her for that club instead. However, if she wants to visit Edge, you'll have to allow her to have sign-out privileges from Oceaneer Club. In other words, while she'll be registered in only one club, she'll certainly be allowed to visit the other. Please let me know if I may be of any further assistance. Have a fantastic cruise on the beautiful Disney Fantasy. Bon Voyage!
