I am booking a trip to Disney World for April 2026, and was bummed to hear that the water park perk for check in day was only for Summer 2026. Is there a chance this will be extended to include Spring 2026?

Welcome to planDisney, Katy! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. It's so exciting that you're planning a Walt Disney World vacation for next April! That's such a lovely time to visit, especially with the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival typically in full bloom. You're going to have an unforgettable trip!

Now, about that water park perk. I totally get why you'd be hoping to take advantage of it. Being able to enjoy one of Disney's awesome water parks like Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach on your check-in day is such a fun way to kick off the magic early! At this time, though, we haven't heard of any plans to extend that particular offer into 2026. Currently, it's just available through 2025, but you never know what kind of magic might pop up in the months ahead, so I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website. That's the best place to stay up to date on any new offers or seasonal bonuses that might become available for your travel dates.

The good news is that there is a special offer already announced for the entirety of 2026: kids ages 3-9 eat free on the dining plan when it's added to a vacation package with at least one adult also on the dining plan! It's a great way to add a little extra value and a whole lot of delicious fun to your trip.

I hope this answers your question, Katy, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
