I am booking a trip in April for 4 adults and 2 infants. I am purchasing 4 adult tickets. What happens to the park entry ticket if one of the people names change or one of the adults do NOT attend with us on the trip?

Hiya Joyce! Thanks for much for stopping by planDisney to chat tickets. I'd be happy to help get your question answered.

If you assign a name to a wholly unused ticket for a Guest in your party and plans change, you can let any qualifying Guest use that ticket. The name on the ticket is more for your records and to help you keep the tickets organized. On the Disneyland side, a ticket is not assigned to someone until you scan that ticket into a park for the first time. Once you scan that ticket to enter the parks for the first time your picture will be taken by a Cast Member and that will assign you to the ticket. A ticket cannot be used by more than one person.

If one of the adults does not attend and you do not have someone to use the ticket in their place the ticket can be used at a later date. All you would do is cancel the reservation on their ticket only.

I see you will be visiting in April and I wanted to make sure you knew about Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival that will be going on while you are there. This festival is a Guest favorite and. full of exciting demonstrations, live music and entertainment, and of course, amazing food and drinks!

Joyce, we appreciate you stopping by! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions. you have as you continue to plan your trip to The Happiest Place on Earth!
