I am booking a Royal Guest Room at PO Riverside because that's the resort we want to stay at but prefer the Queen size beds. Are these rooms really 'girlie' or are they OK for boys? (We have two boys 14 and 12.) Thanks!

    Hi Amy,

While I haven't had the pleasure (yet) of seeing the new Royal Guest Rooms personally, there was a great photo of them posted on the Disney Parks Blog. You can see that here. They look absolutely beautiful, and the bed spreads are a beautiful shade of royal blue and not pink or purple. I just showed the photo to my sons (11 & 15) and asked if they thought they were too girlie. They both thought they looked cool. In fact, my oldest said, "not at all, but it doesn't matter what the room looks like anyway...you're in Disney!". LOL.

Hope this helps and that you have a wonderful vacation,
