If booking 2 rooms with 2 adults in each, does it matter which room they sleep in? Does it have to be the two in the room they were booked in? I want to make myself and my daughter the primary guests but we need to share a room, with the other 2 together.

Hey there, Caryn! Welcome to planDisney. You’ve come to the right place to chat about your upcoming vacation!

It sounds like you will soon be arriving for a magical stay at a Disney Resort hotel -- how amazing! With two adults per room, you should have plenty of space to spread out and enjoy all the amenities your hotel offers! Regarding the booking assignment, Walt Disney World does prefer that the guests listed in each room are, in fact, the guests who will be sleeping in those rooms. You can easily update this via phone by contacting Disney Reservations or simply in person when you arrive to your Resort. However, this is certainly based on the honor system, and while any Guest within a Walt Disney World resort may be asked to verify that they are indeed a Resort guest, this is unlikely to occur within your own hotel room. As long as you make an effort to represent your travel party accurately and do not exceed the limits of capacity for each Resort room, you should be A-OK!

Caryn, I hope that this information brings you peace of mind. I am so glad for you that you will be able to make the trip from overseas to enjoy the Most Magical Place on Earth! Before your arrival, I recommend that you browse the experience updates pages to get a sense of the new rules and regulations that are in place to keep all visitors and Cast Members as safe and happy as possible while enjoying the Disney Parks! Thanks so much for your question, and please know that you may stop by again any time we can be of service -- we are always here for you!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Clara
