When booking a reservation with Disney Dining, do small children/babies count toward the number of guests in your party? If it's age-dependent, at what age do they count toward the number of guests?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Thomas. I'm so glad you stopped by! It's my pleasure to help you plan your visit to the Disneyland Resort

You ask an excellent question about dining reservations. When you book dining reservations, you must include the number of all the Guests in your party, babies and small children included (regardless of age). Even if there's a little one in your party who won't be eating at the restaurant, it's important to include them in your headcount for restaurant capacity purposes.

With little Mouseketeers in tow, I very much recommend booking at least one Character Dining Experience during your visit to the Disneyland Resort. As a mom of three, I just love these meals because I know my kids will enjoy delicious food and the company of their favorite Disney Characters, all in one place!

Did you know there's a conveniently located Baby Care Center in each of the theme parks? The Baby Care Center is the perfect place for a quiet diaper change or feeding in the midst of an adventure-filled day!

I hope this was helpful, Thomas. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Disneyland Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
