Hey there, Ashley!
Welcome to planDisney! You picked a wonderful resort to call your home away from home during your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Disney's Port Orleans Riverside was the first resort my Ohana stayed at as a family of five. And the
5th Sleeper Room was the perfect option for us. My littles are now not so little teens and young adults, and I completely understand this situation!
Ashley, this resort does not offer cots or rollaway beds. This is due to safety reasons. While occupancy limits would not be exceeded, adding more furniture could block access to exits in an emergency. I know this was not the news you were hoping to hear, but I am happy to offer a few suggestions that have worked for us. If your budget allows, you could consider booking two standard rooms at Riverside and request that they be connected. If you are flexible on resorts and looking for an option that stays closer to your current budget,
booking two rooms at a Value Resort may be a good fit for your crew. And in some cases, a one-bedroom or Deluxe Studio that accommodates five at a
Disney Deluxe Villa may be similar in price to two rooms at Riverside. The pull-down beds in Deluxe Villa rooms are twin-size and offer a little more room to stretch out.
When considering your options, be sure to
check out the Special Offers page of the Walt Disney World website. There are some great discounts for spring and summer out now, and new promotions continue to be added throughout the year. You may find adding an offer to your stay makes one of these alternative options a perfect fit!
We'll see ya real soon!
